School and work experience
I graduated from art school in 2011, after which I started teaching in secondary education. I soon exchanged teaching for administrative and recruitment roles. Alongside my work, I studied Philosophy and completed a course in 'Color Therapy'. I have also attended various workshops and courses, such as Intuitive Painting, Business Drawing, and Vedic Art.
With my knowledge, skills, and experience, I started working as a freelance art teacher, providing lessons, workshops, and courses for schools and companies. I teach the creative workshops I developed myself a few times a quarter in the center of Rotterdam. In addition to teaching, I create art and have several exhibitions per year.
Vision
In a rapidly changing world where we seem to understand each other less and less, art transcends language barriers, connects communities, and gives expression to people's deepest emotions. Through art, we can show our true human expression. If we understand this expression, we also gain more insight into ourselves and the world around us.
Visual art, just like our subconscious and intuition, speaks the language of the image. It connects us with the healing power of our creativity. Our artistic expression is a means of communication to connect with ourselves and others.
Mission
With my knowledge and skills, I would love to teach you how to use art for self-expression, experiencing freedom, and gaining greater self-knowledge. By seeing the connection between you and your work, you can better understand yourself and others on a deeper level. You will increasingly live according to your authentic self.
